The Millhouse Lodge sits on McGuire's Millrace Farm in Murphy, North Carolina, giving guests a quiet landing place without separating them from the reason they came.

A full-house lodge for guests who want convenience, comfort, and a quiet farm morning after the celebration.

Simple to plan around.

The lodge has a two-night minimum, 4:00 p.m. check-in, and 11:00 a.m. check-out. Early check-in and late check-out may be arranged by the hour when available.

Arrive before the evening settles.

Unload, stock the kitchen, settle into bedrooms, and gather around the common area before the weekend begins.

Celebrate nearby.

Walk to the wedding and reception sites, then return to the porch, fireplace, pool table, or fire pit.

Wake slowly.

Start the washer, load the dishwasher, gather belongings, and make one more quiet round before checkout.

Ready for the weekend?

A $500 reservation deposit holds the lodge and applies to the balance. Final payment is due one month before the rental date.

Main floor

Friday-Sunday: $350/night. Monday-Thursday: $300/night. Cleaning fee: $125. State and county occupancy tax: 11%.

Entire house

Friday-Sunday: $800/night. Monday-Thursday: $680/night. Cleaning fee: $325. Add a third night to any two-night rental for $400 plus tax.

Two-night minimum. Early check-in and late check-out may be arranged for $25 per hour. No pets or smoking inside the lodge. Maximum occupancy is 30 guests.
